The Light of Christ
on March 8, 2026

When Daylight Saving Time begins, we adjust our clocks and gain longer evenings filled with radiant and blessed sunlight. That extra light changes how we experience our days—giving us more time to see clearly, spend time outside, and enjoy the brightness after months of shorter days. In many ways, it mirrors our spiritual journey with Jesus. When we draw closer to Him, His light begins to shine into the areas of our lives that once felt dim or uncertain, guiding our steps and helping us see life with greater clarity and hope.

Just as a small shift of one hour can make a significant difference in the amount of light we experience each day, small steps in our faith can bring profound changes. A few moments in prayer, time spent reading Scripture, or simply pausing to give thanks to God can gradually fill our lives with more of His presence. As the evenings grow brighter this season, it can serve as a simple reminder that walking with Jesus brings lasting light—one that continues to guide, renew, and strengthen us each day.

Please do not take one moment of the sun’s warmth and beauty for granted. Get out there and soak it up!
