There are just under four weeks until our Memorial Day weekend celebrations. First, join us on Saturday, May 25 at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds for a spectacular performance by Sermon on the “Mount” and Dr. Lew Sterrett, horse whisperer. The first 2,000 attendees will receive a FREE hotdog, chips, and water. This is a FREE event.
Then, we hope to see you at our 9th Annual Memorial Day Community Celebration on Monday, May 27 at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds. This is always a very joyful event with fun for the entire family. This year we have fantastic food vendors serving up delicious food; a car show exhibiting the most beautiful vehicles from decades past through the present; toe-tapping music from talented musicians who love the Lord; inflatables, balloon sculptures, and face painting for kids; amazing artwork created by freestyle street artist, Tucker Rodkey; a time to celebrate all active military, veterans, and first responders, offering these heroes the applause and gratitude they deserve; and an awe-inspiring evangelistic message by Dr. Lew Sterrett. Each of Dr. Lew’s presentations is unique, and this one will not be the same as Saturday’s performance. There is no entrance fee and all events are free.
