I believe the Lord delights in us in much the same way a parent delights in their little baby who smiles back at them – laughter, love, trust, and contentment reflected in their eyes. God wants our love! When we were babies, we were totally and completely dependent upon our parents. The Lord wants us to live in that same awareness of our dependence upon Him.
