Even though equipment failure put a stop to Victory Weekend at Pocono before it began, the stage has been repaired and is ready to go for Watkins Glen!

At Pocono, Victory Weekend partnered with Pennsylvania Racing Outreach (PRO) inside gate #4. PRO brought in their mini stage and some local acoustic musicians. The buzz in the campground was all about the Victory Weekend show, and everyone is looking forward to it next season. Children’s games, the show car, corn hole, and the matchbox car track were a hit with the families and children in the campground at Pocono. There were several decisions for Christ through all of those efforts. Even though the stage didn’t make it, the Kingdom won in the end regardless!

Now the Victory Weekend team is in Watkins Glen set up in the KOA campground. The fun kicks off tomorrow night (Thursday, August 6) with a Finish A Winner event at Chambers Wesleyan Campground. Then on Friday and Saturday night at the KOA campground, Victory Weekend’s concert will be back in action with Southern Edge followed by the tribute to military personnel, first responders, and veterans.

Continue to be in prayer for these next two events, team members and volunteers travelling, musicians, fans, equipment, and all that the team has put into this outreach. Pray that the Victory Weekend continues to stay focused on furthering the Kingdom! Even if people meet Jesus a handful at a time, it’s all worth it.
