Steve had a wonderful time worshiping with our dear friends at New Beginnings Church this past Sunday. The Advent season is always a special time, and Steve was thrilled to be sharing the gospel on the first Sunday of Advent as the candle of hope was lit.

Steve’s sermon focused on Isaiah 9:6, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” in a sermon titled, “His Name.”

It is fitting that that our Lord would give him this message to share with the congregation, as this child who was born “unto us” is the only true hope of a desperate world.
