Greetings Friends!

June is always an interesting and important month, both personally and professionally. First, my birthday is on June 1 and my anniversary is on June 8, so it brings with it times of reflective memories and special moments.

For fun, I enjoyed the company of Selah, my granddaughter, as we made a strawberry shortcake together (see picture above); watched David, my son and Selah’s father, play soccer; and treated Barb to an excellent dinner. That was all on my birthday.

Today, I have already picked strawberries (an annual tradition, as my mom almost delivered me out on the strawberry field) and will celebrate with my family later tonight, along with playing golf with friends this upcoming weekend!

June is special as well, as the end of our fiscal year leads into a time of planning, of taking stock, and of preparing for what God has ahead of us!

We just finished our fourth annual Memorial Day Celebration and it was a big success by all accounts. Read more of what happened! The ministry team is now focusing their efforts at the Michigan International Speedway, which begins on June 10. Click here to read more of what will be happening!

This year we also received the blessing of a $200,000 Matching Challenge, which means every dollar donated until August 31 will be matched up to $200,000. What a blessing it is to have people with the heart for evangelism who want to share the Good News with people who really need it!
