As we prepare for Palm Sunday, remember that a triumphant celebration of palms, ultimate betrayal, an unjust trial, an inhumane sentencing, mockery and cruelty, beating and torture, to the finality of hanging and dying on a cross is not the complete story. In fact, the story was just beginning. Although the world thought it had silenced this Jesus, it had set the stage for the greatest comeback ever to be seen throughout history. By defeating hell and the grave and paving the way of salvation, Jesus flipped the script. Please spend the coming week reflecting on all that the Lord has done for you. May we not only celebrate Resurrection Sunday, but may we honor Jesus’ sacrifice with our lives.
