Steve and the Victory Weekend team had a highly successful Daytona International Speedway (DIS) event. The first step was to head directly into the NASCAR Marketing Forum “Daytona Rising” segment and got to take a tour of the internal changes that were made as well as the fan point of view of the new stadium setting. Every inch of the new stadium is 100% fan friendly from the smart phone interaction to new seating and full facility Wi-Fi!
The team set up at the Chick-fil-A on International Speedway Boulevard on Thursday morning. They were welcomed by fans of all ages. There were several recognizable faces that have been coming by for the last few years! The show car was a hit. The team was set up there Thursday through Saturday and interacted with about 2,500 fans.
Steve and the team visited several campgrounds in the area and had one distinct divine appointment with Brown’s Campground owned by a Christian family. They’re interested in having a full Victory Weekend event in 2017. God’s hand is carefully guiding the connections the team makes in the field. There were great conversations and there’s lots of opportunity for growing in this area in the future. Thank you so much for praying, and please start praying for the team’s trip to Bristol on April 15-17. Your prayers do make a difference!
