Praise the Lord for the life-transforming work He performed in lives at Moraine Park Summer Festival in June of 2008! Over 45,000 people came under the sound of the Gospel that weekend. Our God is mighty to save! He can speak to any one of us in any way He chooses and this was evident in the way people were touched during the weekend.

I would like to share a testimony from a woman who attended the festival on Saturday evening with her teenaged son. It was exciting to see God move in unconventional ways! I hope you are as inspired by it as I was!

There were many other stories like this throughout the weekend. I had the privilege of leading a police officer, who was part of the security detail, to the Lord. He thought this was just another day on the job, but God had other plans! I could also mention the powerful testimonies from the Extreme Team and their impact on young and old alike. And, of course, there were countless others who were invited by a friend to hear a music group and found themselves face to face with the living God.

One SWEA board member in attendance said, “It was sure worthwhile and exciting to see the Holy Spirit working in Our the lives of so many people.
