Dear Friends,

Have you noticed there is a great deal of negativity in the world today?  It seems as if we are bombarded with stories of tragedy, hatred, and calamity on a daily basis.  I long for the day when the news leads with a story of hope and love, or “breaking news” interrupts the airwaves to share a story of people at their best.

Second Chronicles 7:14 (ASV) tells us, “If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

It is time for believers to arise and lead.  As Christians, we know the sole hope for our nation can only be found in Jesus Christ.  I urge you to enter into a season of prayer and fasting with me.  Starting September 24, forty days prior to Election Day on Tuesday, November 3, let us kneel daily in solidarity with one unifying voice and proclaim that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
