From Steve – September I: God Works In So Many Ways!
on September 2, 2016

I am continually in awe with how God opens doors, allowing us, His children, to experience Him through the wonderful ways He works!!

Quinn Houff _ 09.02.2016

First, the picture above shows how Victory Weekend and Lodestar Guidance have joined forces in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Concord Speedway. Quinn Houff raced around the track and was interviewed for the Focus video. Also, a pit crew helped illustrate the Accountability video and Josh Reaume assisted with the filming for the Commitment video. We are excited to see these videos come out sometime in 2017!

Second, I am extremely excited to also announce that Barb and I will be hosting a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, March 23 through April 3, 2017.  Every time I go there, I feel closer to Jesus than I ever have before. This journey is one I believe every Christian should experience at least once. Everyone who goes calls it “the trip of a lifetime” and truly a life-changing event.

Our trip will be conducted by a specially-assigned guide who handles work through a world class travel agency. The extensive itinerary will include all the places you have heard about and always wanted to visit.  Contact Terry at (800) 729-2239 for more information and to request a brochure.

Speaking of open doors, we are gearing up for our return to Dover’s famous Monster Mile race track on September 29-October 2. Our Victory Weekend events there are so much fun and many memories are made. Please pray for the safety of our team members and volunteers, and that people will respond to the Gospel message we present for Jesus’ glory.

I am saddened by the sudden passing of my friend and partner in ministry, Abe Clymer. Abe was very well known and respected in our city as a business owner, community leader, and stalwart Christian father who loved his family with a servant’s heart. Abe served in our ministry as Vice President and Director of Development for many years. He will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him.  Please pray for his wife, Shirley, and the rest of the family during this difficult time.
