Dear Friend,
Greetings in the name of our Savior, Jesus. Thanksgiving is on my mind and on my heart. I am not talking about only one day of parades, football, dinner with family and friends, and lots of leftovers, though each of those are relevant and hold special places in our hearts. I am speaking of leading a life of gratitude. Each of us has been given so much by our Creator that pausing one day to reflect on the goodness of God cannot be enough. Everything we hold dear, from the small things that may seem insignificant to the large things that are bursting with significance, is ours thanks to the God who first loved us.
As we approach a day dedicated to giving thanks to the Lord, my challenge to you is to find someone who has lost all hope and invest in their life. Bear witness of the light and point them to the Jesus you know. The joy that we have found in the gospel and the gratefulness we feel because of His grace and mercy are so much better shared!
Blessings,
