The month of May has started off very active for me. I preached at the First Presbyterian Church of Harrisonburg on the 1st and it went so well that we ran out of Building Your Faith books. More importantly, at least 40 decisions were made for Christ. Praise God that His word is still changing lives!
I am also speaking at our local Habitat for Humanity banquet and at the National Day of Prayer during the first week of the month. The second weekend will find me at Dover for our big Victory Weekend at the Monster Mile. We are excited about our musical line-up featuring Audra McLaughlin, Chareé White, and Jess Zimmerman. It is going to be a fantastic event. Try to make it to Dover if you can! We really need volunteers and would love to have you join us.
Later in May, I will be speaking at Christ Central Church in Upper Tract, West Virginia for three days and, of course, at our 4th Annual Memorial Day Celebration here at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds on May 30th.
Paul’s words to the Philippians keep me going, “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus” (3:14 NIV). God’s word continues to change and guide my life, too. I hope you are inviting it to do the same in your life!
