February is the month of the year when we hear a great deal about “love.” Of course, the reason is that Valentine’s Day comes on the 14th and, whether you like it or not, you can’t avoid all the commercialism surrounding that day.
This year I urge you to spend some time thinking about the Creator of love – God. Yes, God. And, I urge you to use every opportunity you have to demonstrate His love to as many people as possible.
You might think that you are too overwhelmed with your own list of things that you haven’t the time, energy, or ability to minister to anyone else. But, I guarantee you that if you do reach out to someone else that God will bless you. God works in you when you show His love to others.
Ask God to show you someone today who needs a touch of His love.
“If we love each other, God lives in us, and His love is brought to full expression in us.” 1 John 4:12 NLT
