Dear Friends,

Did you make a New Year’s resolution? Do you plan to exercise more and lose weight? Learn how to paint or play a musical instrument? Will you organize your life in an attempt to be more productive?

For the most part, resolutions are healthy and a great way to set personal goals. In addition to the goals you’ve set for the year, I want to encourage you to make a spiritual resolution: become more resolved to seek the Lord and His companionship throughout 2020. Make this a year of personal revival, a time where you grow in the Lord in ways that you never imagined. Psalm 51:10-11 (ESV) reveals to us, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your holy spirit away from me.”

While living a healthy lifestyle, learning a new hobby, and/or becoming more efficient in your daily responsibilities are each admirable things we should strive for, making the Lord of the Heavens and Earth, the Messiah, the Alpha and the Omega the center of your world and cultivating that relationship with Him is the recipe for an amazing 2020.
