Every time I get to spend time with family, it is so precious. Last week, Barbara and I enjoyed visiting Michelle, Howard, and the grandkids in Tennessee. We enjoyed this mini-retreat and our family has drawn closer with fun and memories.

Proverbs 22:6 from the New International Version states: “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” Barbara and I are truly grateful that how we have invested in Michelle and David not only has transformed their lives, but also these lessons are now taking root in our grandkids’ lives.

In our society today, we truly never know what Kingdom investments we are accomplishing today for generations to come. But if we preserve today, tomorrow will show us what seeds have been planted and what crop can be harvested. Take it from Barbara and me: we are now seeing the investments through our grandkids!

Our trip with Michelle’s family was shortened though, as Barbara went to see her dad in Pennsylvania.  He is having some heart issues. I invite you to pray for Bob, Barbara, and their entire family as we all pray for Bob’s recovery. I appreciate you taking the time today to ask for God’s favor in Bob’s health moving forward.

Know that God loves and appreciates what you are doing for His Kingdom by sharing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior with your loved ones and friends. I love you too and know that you are in my prayers.  Let’s all go out to make the differences today for God’s Kingdom and watch how God uses it for His glory tomorrow!
