We are in a time of the year filled with conflicting emotions for many people. Anticipation and happiness often run into disappointment and regret as Christmas fades into the reality of a new year.
My word for you is patience. I’m sure you have experienced frustrations and disappointments with yourself and others. Be patient as you walk humbly before the LORD. You have been bought with a price; you are no longer your own; you are His! You can put your trust and hope in Him.
Be patient with other people. If you have some concerns about the coming year, focus on God and trust Him. He has promised He will meet all your needs.
I pray that the excitement and hope of the Christmas season will follow you into 2016 and beyond. And I pray that your moments of anxiety will be followed by putting your hopes and trust in God, giving Him all praise, honor, and glory for what He does in your life.
May you have a Merry and Blessed Christmas and a Joy Filled and Prosperous New Year!
Steve
