As you attend to the last minute details of the Christmas season and prepare for the New Year now on our doorstep, remember to trust God for His faithfulness. He is there in all circumstances when we look to Him. Romans 8:28 tells us that He works all things out for good for those who are called according to His purpose.
I encourage you to get “in training” for the New Year as you run your personal race with endurance by faithfully reading God’s word, attending church regularly, and by nurturing a lifestyle of daily involvement in your walk with God. Developing an intimate relationship with God and loving Him passionately will most certainly serve you well in 2014 and for the rest of your life.
So, as you reflect on 2013 and look forward to 2014, thank Him for the many blessings in your life and allow Him to use you more to advance His kingdom in the coming year. Thank you for your participation in this ministry. I count that as one of the blessings in my life.
Merry Christmas and a joyous and prosperous New Year!
