Hello Friends. As you may have heard me say before, “Faith, family, and friends are what matters.”  Last week I had the joy and privilege of spending a few days with my family enjoying Dollywood, the beauty of God’s creation in the Great Smokies, and, most of all, the unmatched, triumphant pleasure of my family’s company.

Vacation with my family was great and it helps me recharge my battery. One very special day was spent at an old-fashioned swimming hole near an old mountain railroad where I spent the entire day with God’s gift of family. There is simply nothing more wonderful than being around the ones you love the most and watching them grow in the presence of the Lord. Praise God, it was an awesome time! Glory!!

Now, I launch into a very busy August. With the Victory Weekend team, I begin with our Watkins Glen Victory Weekend and preaching at a nearby church (August 5-7). I continue by sharing messages at Antioch Church of the Brethren in Woodstock, Virginia (August 14) and at New Beginnings Church in Harrisonburg, Virginia (August 21). I also will be filmed in two future Lodestar Guidance promotional videos in Charlotte, North Carolina (August 22-23). I conclude the month by going with the Victory Weekend team and speaking at the Michigan International Speedway and preaching at a nearby church (August 26-28).  In between, I will also spend time at the Lodestar Mountain Inn construction site in Upper Tract, West Virginia and help support the programming and planning for the First Friday Car Show event in Oxford, Pennsylvania on September 2.

I continue to marvel at how God keeps opening doors of opportunity for the ministry and me to walk through. I thank Him every day for the many ways He sustains us, with times of vacation with family and opportunities to share Jesus.

I thank Him for friends like you who believe in the value and urgency of evangelism. Thank you for how you advance His Kingdom through what we do.  You are extremely vital to the fulfillment of His plan, whether you are resting, vacationing, or on-the-go for Jesus!!
