In our return to Bristol, Tennessee, we had the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ at Gentry’s Parking and Camping. It is a wonderful location and we were blessed to overlook Bristol Motor Speedway during our inaugural Victory Weekend at our new home. We ministered to 1,200 race fans who were excited to welcome the team back to Bristol.

The Jess Zimmerman Band provided the musical entertainment. On Friday night, people from other camping sites traveled to Gentry’s because they heard the great music. It was an honor and privilege to celebrate seven veterans and first responders. The crowd roared in appreciation and pride for these heroes. Following this tribute, Joe Barzowski, guitarist for the Jess Zimmerman Band and worship leader at his church, prayed over those honored and spoke of a love and hope only found in Jesus. Through Joe’s prayer and testimony, the Lord moved and we saw two individuals make commitments to follow Jesus. We praise God for that!

Overall, it was great to be back in Bristol. It is a special place and plans are underway to return in 2020.
