This past weekend, the Victory Weekend team ministered in the shadow of the “Monster Mile” at the Lot 10 Campground in Dover, Delaware. Just as the rain fell from the sky, showers of blessings drenched the entire team. Even in the wet conditions, the Victory Weekend fans were there and they were ready for a great time.
The energized crowd were given 2 great concerts by Southern Edge and the Jess Zimmerman Band. All of these talented musicians poured their hearts out in their music and it showed in their performances as well as their interactions with the fans following their sets. We were also fortunate to give away two beautiful gift baskets provided by Mission BBQ in Dover. Mission BBQ is driven daily to show their gratitude and respect to the men and women of our Armed Forces. It only seems natural that we would join forces while at the “Monster Mile.”
The audience was also treated to interact with Quin Houff, driver of the #77 Spire Chevrolet car. Quin was gracious enough to stop by and speak to the fans, despite having a chaotic race weekend schedule. Quin is a dear friend and believer in the Victory Weekend ministry, and the fans loved this unique experience.
Most importantly, during a wonderful Victory Weekend, we had the privilege of welcoming 20 new believers, who responded to the call of Jesus Christ and accepted Him for the first time. Please join us as we pray for these individuals and celebrate their decision to follow Jesus.
