Dear Friends,
Welcome to 2019! Does it still have the new year smell? A new year is filled with many new and exciting opportunities. January 1 brings with it not only a new year or a new calendar, but it offers a blank slate. A chance to learn and grow from the lessons learned and the trials we have overcome in the past. As we venture into 2019, I ask that you remember the Victory Weekend ministry in your prayers. Pray that we have good favor with the venues where we hold our events. Pray for our team as we prepare and minister. Finally, pray for all of those who will attend a Victory Weekend. Pray that their hearts and minds be open and receptive to the message of hope, love, and mercy only given through our perfect sacrifice, Jesus Christ.
I also ask you to remember the progress of the Lodestar Mountain Inn. This beautiful 524-acre example of the providence of God will be a lighthouse for so many who are weathering the storms of this life. Pray that the Lord will continue to bless this part of the ministry and that we will be equipped to facilitate a place of hope and restoration, which will positively affect lives for generations to come. Join us in praying that hurting people will be able to seek the face and hear the voice of the Lord at the Lodestar Mountain Inn.
Finally, I would like to urge you to consider implementing the Lodestar Guidance leadership-training program into your new year. The Lodestar Guidance curriculum is changing the way people are living and leading. This amazing program focuses on 48 positive character attributes and relates them to biblical perspectives as well as everyday life. Churches, families, businesses, and even first responders are using Lodestar Guidance. For more information about this program, visit their website at www.lodestar-guidance.com.
May 2019 be a year of victory and revival in your life!
Expecting great things,
Steve
