The Victory Weekend team had the honor and privilege to hold two events in Michigan on August 9 – 11, 2018, and we thank God for these awesome opportunities. The Victory Weekend team began with a Finish A Winner event at New Jerusalem Fellowship in Cement City, Michigan. The Victory Weekend team ministered to over 100 people as they enjoyed fellowship, food, and drinks while listening to Steve and Josh Reaume. Josh is a dear friend to the ministry and he is the driver of the number 33 truck in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Steve and Josh spoke to those in attendance about what it truly takes to run your race and finish a winner. We are happy to report that we saw 8 people make first time decisions for Christ during this impactful event.
From there, the team travel to the Juniper Hills Campground in Brooklyn, Michigan! The crowds were excited and the Victory Weekend team was ready for a great weekend of ministry. The team was thrilled to return to Michigan to make up for the spring Victory Weekend that was “washed out” and cancelled due to heavy rains.
We saw over 4,000 race fans and they were full of life and energy. The fans loved the great music performed by the Jess Zimmerman Band! Each night, the crowds were loud, engaged, and having a great time. On Saturday night, we paid tribute to those brave men and women, who have served our nation with bravery and honor, our veterans, active military personnel, and first responders. In total, we honored 32 individuals by placing medals around their necks and applauding them for their selfless acts of heroism. Following this moving tribute, Steve shared the love and hope afforded to each of us by Jesus Christ. We saw an amazing outpouring of the Spirit of the Lord and over 40 people made decisions for Christ. It was the perfect ending to an awesome weekend of ministry.
We appreciate all of the prayers of HIS people, this weekend of ministry was proof that you are praying and God is answering!
