Like most months, October has been a whirlwind for me. Before the month is over, I will have spoken every Sunday at a different event–three in Virginia and one in Maryland. I enjoy meeting new people at each of these events and sharing what we do with them.

Early in the month, Luke Weaver and I traveled to Atlanta for the Re:fuel conference conducted by the Luis Palau organization. I was very encouraged by the number of innovative ministries seeking to advance the Kingdom.

I have made several trips to West Virginia as we continue to plan for the retreat center. I have also made trips to Pennsylvania and Ohio to meet with friends to give them an update on where the ministry is headed next year and beyond.

Barb and I made a quick trip to Nashville to see our daughter’s new house and spend some time with the six grandchildren.

Please continue to pray for me and the ministry. November is shaping up to be another busy time like October. We are ecstatic that Victory Weekend is going to be at NASCAR’s Ford Championship weekend (November 20-22) at Homestead- Miami Speedway. It is a huge opportunity for us.
