It’s that time again! Yes, it’s back to school for the nation’s students. If you are a parent with school-aged children or a student yourself, then you know what a hectic and hopeful time it can be.
It is hectic because it often requires purchasing books, clothing, and other supplies. It is also a time of transition, meeting new people and encountering new situations. It is hopeful because it signals the possibilities of wonderful new discoveries and relationships.
No matter how old you are you should never stop wanting to learn. I love those stories you hear occasionally of someone in their 80’s who just earned a diploma. God bless them!
As for advice about learning, I can’t improve on the words found in Joshua 1:8, “Study this Book of Instruction (God’s Word) continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.” (NLT)
Have a blessed school year!
