Whew!! Today I am thanking God for His grace in providing for my physical needs over the past week or so.
First, there was the fabulous blessing bestowed on my wife Barb and I when the ministry staff put on an absolutely spectacular 40th Anniversary Celebration banquet filled with surprises and special memories. The evening was one blessing after another as 200+ friends from all over the country came to honor our 40 years of marriage and ministry.
The very next day we conducted our second annual Memorial Day Celebration at the fairgrounds. I hope you were there to enjoy the wonderful music, the delicious foods, the car show, and the always touching tribute to the veterans, active duty personnel, and our local first responders. We had more than 2700 in attendance, 80 decisions for Christ and we were able to honor 157 service personnel for their sacrificial service. It was quite a day!
The end of the week found our Victory Weekend team in Dover for the spring race. In addition to the whirlwind of activities at and around the race track, I also spoke at a church on Sunday June 1st – my birthday.
Now I plan to take a breath or two before our very active June schedule begins with the big Victory Weekend at the Michigan International Speedway.
Thank you for your prayers. I’ve needed every one of them.
