One of the Scriptures that keep me going is Galatians 6:9. Almost two thousand years ago Paul wrote, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (NIV)
I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I am called to do everything I can to reach every available person using every available means. I know too that I am called to publicly and privately proclaim Christ at every opportunity. I know that in my daily life activities, I am called to represent Him well at all times.
All of these things qualify as “doing good” as Paul described. He acknowledged that a person can become weary, but that there is a harvest for those who persevere.
Conducting multiple Victory Weekends is not without its challenges. Maintaining a viable evangelical ministry for over 30 years also has its challenges. We are continuing to fulfill our calling, confident that each person who declares a new or renewed faith in Christ is a worthy harvest.
Thankfully, God keeps me energized, focused, and encouraged as He constantly reminds me about my calling and His promises of strength, as well as the rewards of obedience. I hope that you are relying on Him in a similar fashion.
Prayers are a sustaining force so please pray for me and our ministry.
Thank you for praying. Let us know how we can pray for you.
