Can you believe March is here already? This third month of the year is frequently a month of some uncertainties.
For starters, March is a time of year when the weather can do, and often does, some wildly different things. Some of the year’s biggest snowstorms can arrive in this first month of spring and March winds are legendary. On the other hand, we can experience some beautifully warm days which can turn our hearts toward the promise of a pleasant season.
For sports fans, March is of course the month for college basketball’s “March Madness” which is always full of surprises. Also during this month, NASCAR races usually defy prediction as wrecks, retirements, and car trouble alter race results.
Speaking of NASCAR, this month we will be in Bristol from the 13th through the 16th to experience the pageantry, tradition, and excitement that characterizes the Bristol spring race. I hope you can make it as a volunteer or spectator. Be there as we present God’s unchanging and certain truth to a multitude of men, women, and young people who need to hear it.
