Dear Friend,
As we enter this season of thankfulness, pause from life’s busyness and reflect on the goodness of God. Often, we become so focused on the responsibilities before us and the challenges that lie ahead that we overlook the many ways the Lord has blessed us. Yet every day brings fresh evidence of His faithfulness, provision, and unfailing love. Psalm 107:1 (KJV) tells us, “O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” Our gratitude begins with Him, for every good gift we enjoy comes from His gracious hand.
We should also be deeply thankful for the people God has placed in our lives. Family, friends, fellow believers, ministry partners, and those who faithfully serve alongside us are gifts we should never take for granted. Each person can encourage, strengthen, and make a lasting difference in others’ lives. Sometimes, a simple word of encouragement, a helping hand, or a faithful prayer becomes the very thing someone needs to keep moving forward. May we be intentional about expressing our appreciation and reminding those around us how much they mean to us.
As you reflect on this season, I encourage you to look beyond the blessings that are easy to recognize and give thanks even for the lessons learned through difficult days. God is at work in every season, shaping our hearts and teaching us to trust Him more deeply. Let us cultivate grateful hearts, generous spirits, and a renewed commitment to serving others with the love of Christ. We may never fully understand the impact of the blessings we have received, or the lives touched through our faithfulness, but we can move forward with confidence, knowing that God is good. May thankfulness be more than a principle celebrated one day or season of the year; may it become a way of life that brings glory to our Lord daily.
Blessings,
