For years, the Lodestar gap year program has blessed students seeking to grow in their faith, discover their God-given purpose, and develop the character and leadership skills needed to serve Jesus Christ. We have seen the Lord work in the lives of students who have walked these mountain paths in years past and those who are learning and growing here today, and we are excited to witness God move in the lives of those who will arrive in years to come. What began as an opportunity to invest in young lives has become part of a much greater story – one of discipleship, spiritual growth, lasting relationships, and preparation for a lifetime of service to the Lord. God has graciously allowed us to shepherd this amazing space at the Lodestar Mountain Inn. Through His mighty hand, He has shaped this ministry into what it is today, and we believe He still has much more in store for its future. Our responsibility is to remain faithful to His calling and to steward what He has entrusted to us for His glory.

As we look ahead, we are working to raise $1,792,500 toward phase II of our Great Purpose Projects, which include the following:

· RV & Tent camping area

· 100×50-foot multi-sport court (basketball, volleyball, tennis, pickleball, and rollerblading) with 10’ high safety fence

· 30×60-foot in-ground swimming pool (wood-fired heater, safety fence, one year of operating costs)

· Indoor rec center (remodel/expand former shop)

· Operations building with intern housing

These facilities will serve Gap Year students, guests of the Lodestar Mountain Inn, and the surrounding community and will provide opportunities for fellowship, recreation, relationship-building, and continued growth in an environment where people of all ages can connect with one another and with the Lord. We see this as more than a building project; it is an investment in lives, relationships, and generations yet to come. We invite you to join us in prayer and support as we take this next step of faith. With the Lord’s guidance and the generosity of friends who share this vision, we trust that the work He has begun will continue to flourish. Thank you for standing with Wingfield Ministries and the Lodestar Mountain Inn as we seek to make the most of every opportunity God provides to equip the next generation and serve our community in His name.
