We are inviting all veterans, servicemembers, first responders, their families, and members of our community to gather for our Patriot Day Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 12:00 noon at New Beginnings Church, 101 Pike Church Road, Harrisonburg, VA 22801. As we pause to remember the events of September 11 and reflect on the sacrifices made to preserve our nation’s freedom and security, we also celebrate the men and women who have answered the call to serve. Through military service and emergency response, these heroes have demonstrated extraordinary courage, compassion, and commitment, often placing the needs of others before their own. The luncheon will include patriotic and inspirational music, a special tribute recognizing every veteran, servicemember, and first responder in attendance, and a delicious meal prepared through the generosity of local restaurants and community partners.

This event is our opportunity to express heartfelt gratitude to those who serve and to unite our community in honoring their dedication. The luncheon is complimentary for all veterans, servicemembers, and first responders. Community members are warmly encouraged to attend and are invited to make a suggested donation of $10 per meal to help support this special outreach.
