Help us honor our local veterans, active-duty personnel, reserve-duty personnel, and first responders on Friday, September 11, 2026, at our Faith, Freedom, and Appreciation Luncheon. The event will be held at New Beginnings Church, 101 Pike Church Road, Harrisonburg, VA 22801, beginning at 12 PM.
A delicious meal, sponsored by local restaurants and food vendors, will be provided for free to all veterans, active-duty personnel, reserve-duty personnel, and first responders in attendance. Special music will be performed as well as an honor ceremony to recognize the service and sacrifices of our American heroes.
As we remember the events of September 11 and reflect upon the resilience of our nation, we also celebrate the faith and values that have sustained America through difficult times. This special luncheon will provide an opportunity for fellowship, encouragement, and recognition of those who have answered the call to serve. Together we will honor your dedication, offer our thanks, and acknowledge the important role that faith, freedom, and service continue to play in our communities and our nation.
Please consider joining us for this important event. We are asking for a suggested donation of $10 per meal for the public to help us cover the cost of this event. Donations can be made the day of the event.
