As I reflect on 2022, I am amazed at all God has done and feel an overwhelming sense of thankfulness for the ministry He has called me to. He faithfully carried us through the pandemic, expanding our ministry reach far beyond what I could have anticipated.

The OneLife Institute is well underway with 22 students embarking on a life-changing path that will make an eternal impact on many generations to come. It is humbling to consider what God is doing as we train and equip these students to stand strong for Christ. Many will come to Christ in our lifetimes and beyond because of the work they are being prepared to do.

We hosted a Holy Land Tour in August. Among the participants were my brother Wayne and his wife Dianna along with Dianna’s son Scott and Wayne’s grandson Jackson. While there, Wayne suffered a massive heart attack and died. My first thought was that he entered the Promised Land from the Promised Land. While my heart still grieves for my brother, I am thankful to God for the final days I was able to spend with him. His death reminded me once again of the words from C.T. Studd’s famous poem, “Only one life, ‘twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.”

The Lodestar Mountain Inn is a place where spiritual life is breathed into weary souls. Our Victory Weekend outreach is very much alive and continuing to find new locations to share the gospel message. Through our Guiding Principles YouTube devotionals, we are reaching the masses. In Africa alone over 1,500 pastors are using the daily YouTube devotional.

To those who have prayed and sacrificially given, thank you for your commitment to this ministry. Your generosity and friendship are things I hold dear.

I am asking every friend of the ministry to prayerfully consider giving a year-end gift so we can continue this ministry of evangelism. I need your prayers for God’s direction and provision to continue the calling He has given. A friend of the ministry has given a $150,000 matching opportunity. Every gift will be matched dollar for dollar between now and December 31, and I ask that you partner with us in reaching this goal.

Please join our team in moving forward with thankfulness as we strive toward the opportunities God has given. My heart’s desire is to be “faithful even unto death.” May we all be found faithful in what God has entrusted us. I pray you will have a blessed Thanksgiving and Christmas. Thank you for being an essential part of what God is doing to advance His kingdom.

Prayerfully,

Steve Wingfield
