Dear Friend,

Thank you to everyone who joined Wingfield Ministries for our Patriot Day Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, September 11. Your presence made this special gathering a meaningful time to honor our first responders, service members, and veterans. We are grateful for the opportunity to recognize those who have sacrificed, served, protected, and continue to put others’ needs before their own. Your participation demonstrated the deep appreciation and respect our community has for these courageous men and women.

As we honored those who serve our communities and nation, we were reminded of the example Jesus gave us through His own life. Jesus taught us that true greatness is found in serving others, and He demonstrated sacrificial love by giving Himself for us. The dedication of our first responders, military members, and veterans points us toward that same spirit of humility, courage, and selflessness. While we can never repay all that they have given, we can express our gratitude, support their families, and follow Christ’s command to love and serve one another.

Thank you for helping us make the luncheon a time of remembrance, encouragement, fellowship, and gratitude. Most of all, thank you for helping us honor those who have served while pointing hearts toward the greatest example of sacrificial love—Jesus Christ. We pray that every veteran, service member, first responder, and family member who attended felt appreciated and encouraged. May God continue to bless and protect those who serve, and may He use each of us to share His love and hope with others.
