Dear friends,
If the past year has taught us anything, it is to just hurry up and wait. As restrictions drug out for days, then weeks, and then months, most of us could not help but dream about and plan what we would do once normalcy returned. The Lord used this forced time of idling to prove that, in life, we must be still and know that He is God.
Not being able to be with the Victory Weekend crowds, being prevented from visiting and sharing the Word to a variety of churches, and missing another Memorial Day Community Celebration has been very disappointing, however, we were able to use that time to progress the construction and vision of the Lodestar Mountain Inn. From planning to constructing, the hand of God has been hard at work, and His work is amazing!
One avenue of ministry that our team is especially eager for is the gap-year program that we are partnering with OneLife Institute to implement. Even though we are anticipating launching this program in September 2021, I ask that you begin covering the program, the students, and the process of building men’s and women’s dormitories in prayer now. This program is going to be vital in teaching character development and evangelism to these impressionable young people. It is our duty to prepare and train the next generation of Christian leaders, and the most important thing we can do is pray.
Would you please consider joining me in praying for the Gap-Year Program daily?
Blessings,
Steve
