Dear Friends,

I am very excited about what God is doing at the Lodestar Mountain Inn in beautiful Smoke Hole, West Virginia. We have begun construction on the chapel. As you read this, our friends at Stone Hill Construction are hard at work laying the foundation, though I can assure you that God truly laid the foundation of this project long before any of us knew this was even a possibility. This is going to be a stunning log chapel. I secured an old log cabin that was disassembled where it stood and that lumber was transported to the property to be reclaimed as a marvelous chapel. The chapel will be overlooking the valley below with a clear view of the retreat center, the ponds, and a panoramic view of the Lord’s creation.

It is always very special to stand where this chapel will soon be built and continually pray for God’s blessing over this project.

My heart’s desire is that anyone who can get away and spend time at the Lodestar Mountain Inn will use this time of quiet and beauty to hear the still small voice of God.
