The Juniper Hills Campground in Brooklyn, Michigan is an enjoyable spot for the Victory Weekend team to visit. In fact, our group commented on how respectful the crowd was during the entire event. Way to go, Michigan!
The added bonus was that the weather was beautiful as large crowds gathered on Friday and Saturday, June 10 and 11. Charee White and newcomers Jess Zimmerman and Kathryn Dean brought such excitement and enthusiasm with their individual styles and unique voices . God has blessed them with impressive vocal skills and perspectives that captivate and encourage those in attendance, every time.
Vernon Zook, SWEA Board Member and Pastor, gave the inspirational message on Saturday night which resulted in 32 people choosing Jesus to be a part of their lives moving forward. The team also honored 40 military personnel, first responders, and veterans for their sacrificial service. We enjoyed another excellent opportunity to share the Great News in Jesus Christ to all within earshot!
Michigan fans have always been respectful and responsive, and this year’s gathering exceeded those expectations. We will be back there again August 26-28 and we are really looking forward to that trip. Whether you can attend or not, we always benefit from your prayers, so thank you for taking time with God in intercession with us.
If you would like to have a rewarding “hands-on” missions experience, please contact the Office at (540) 433-0769 about putting together a team to help at one of our future outreaches. We are looking to assemble teams to be the hands and feet of Jesus, to support the Victory Weekend Team and to show those in attendance choosing Jesus that they have immediate support with them, right there on the grounds.
May this Michigan update encourage you this day and throughout this summer!
