Some very exciting things happened recently surrounding the publication of Steve Wingfield’s new book Winning the Race Every Day.  One of them was Steve being the featured author on the Barnes & Noble book blog page.  He was interviewed about his writing technique and pictured signing the Barnes & Noble logo “wrap” on the #52 car at the NASCAR New Hampshire race in mid July.

The car, which also featured the Victory Weekend logo, got tons of media attention because of Morgan Shepherd’s historic start.  Morgan became the oldest driver to ever start a Sprint Cup level race in the history of NASCAR racing and was a major story on every outlet covering the race.
