Every day, I am reminded of what an incredible privilege it is to serve Jesus. Life can bring unexpected challenges, disappointments, and uncertainties, but through it all, there is a hope that never changes – the hope we have in Christ. Serving Jesus isn’t simply something we do on Sundays or at special events; it is a daily walk of trusting Him, following His direction, and allowing His love to shine through our lives. There is a deep joy that comes from knowing that our lives have purpose and that God can use even the smallest act of faithfulness to make a difference in someone else’s life.
One of the greatest joys of serving Jesus is seeing Him work in ways we could never accomplish on our own. A conversation, a prayer, an encouraging word, or simply being willing to help someone in need can become an opportunity for God to bring hope into a person’s life. We may never know the full impact of our obedience this side of heaven, but we can trust that God is faithful. When we place our lives in His hands, He gives us opportunities each day to be His hands and feet – to encourage the discouraged, love the hurting, serve those in need, and point people toward the hope found in Jesus Christ.
My prayer is that each of us will wake up every morning with a renewed desire to serve Jesus with joy. The world desperately needs people who will carry the hope of Christ into their homes, workplaces, churches, communities, and wherever God sends them. We don’t have to have all the answers or do something extraordinary; we simply need to be willing, faithful, and available. What a joy it is to know that when we serve Jesus, we never serve alone. He walks with us, strengthens us, and gives us the privilege of sharing His hope with others. May we live each day with grateful hearts, joyful spirits, and a renewed commitment to serve our Savior wherever He leads.
Blessings,
