2025 Summer Appeal – Ends September 22

Dear Friend,

What can we say other than praise the Lord! Thank you so much for praying; God answered! The May meetings and crusades in Zambia were blessed by God. More than 140 pastors received training and encouragement to stand strong. The evangelist rally grew daily, and the last night was truly packed. Overall, our team touched more than 9,800 people with over 1,300 decisions for Christ. The African leadership team led by Bishop Mulinge of Kenya and Bishop Sacala of Zambia have been faithful partners and very complementary of our combined ministry efforts. We also incorporated Evangelist Randy Martin to do more together, all for the glory of God! Please find additional testimony from our May team in the International/Africa section.

Immediately following our Zambia Evangelistic Mission Outreach, we held our local 10th Annual Memorial Day Community Celebration. It was an amazing day with over 5,000 people in attendance throughout the event. The major highlights were the various carnival booths set up by local churches and non-profit organizations for fun and to share the good news of Jesus Christ. We hosted a cruise-in car show, live music, laser tag, inflatable games, face painting, balloon sculptures, a mechanical bull, food and craft vendors, pony rides, a petting zoo, a caricature artist, axe throwing, a moving tribute to honor our US Military veterans and first

responders in attendance, and so much more. Several evangelists shared powerful messages and gave the invitation for individuals to accept Jesus. Throughout the day, many made that decision, and many others accepted invitations to participate in area churches. The final highlight was a concert by Dove Award Winner Jordan Feliz.

Also on the home front, we have several major projects ongoing at the Lodestar Mountain Inn. Thanks to our faithful sponsors  and many generous volunteers, the campus Kitchen and  Dining Room Facility and the new campus Maintenance and  Mechanical Skills Training Facility are nearing completion. We are repurposing the larger garage and maintenance building to become a recreation facility for when we have inclement  weather.

Our sports field, which will provide an area for students and guests to play large field games such as soccer, football, and softball, is well underway. We anticipate also using this area to host sports events for the local community as an outreach tool.

Please keep praying as we enter year four of the gap year program at the Lodestar Mountain Inn. We anticipate starting 30 students again this August. What a privilege it is to invest in and train the next generation!
