Dear Friend,
The Lord showed up in a major way at the 9th Annual Memorial Day Community Celebration! The day began with worries and plenty of “weather watching” as a line of storms was expected to pass through the valley. However, those storm clouds broke up and the sun shined brightly! It was a great time of laughter, fun, celebration, honor, and commemoration. I am thankful for this amazing community that Barb and I live in and raised our children in. I must take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in this celebration. From our ministry staff and volunteers to the food vendors, the classic car community, the great musicians, the children’s area workers, Tucker Rodkey from Painting Freedom Ministries, Dr. Lew Sterrett and his team, and most importantly our veterans, Active Duty Military, and first responders as well as everyone who attended, I am praising God for all of you today. My prayer is that we always remember those who were willing to give their all in the protection and duty of our country. To those who have served – you are seen; you are appreciated; you are loved.
