I, like you, have been saddened by the loss of life, the division and hatred that was experienced in Charlottesville, Virginia recently. With all of the uncertainty in our world and division in our own country I could weep. But I’m reminded in Scripture, “Do not become weary in well doing for in due season you will reap a harvest if you faint not.” Galatians 6:9

So my word to each of us, as followers of Christ: do not give up! Do not be discouraged! Keep sowing good seed! Keep loving and keep giving of yourself to make a difference. Love wins, and as the Apostle Paul said, “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.”

May each of us, too, be faithful even unto death!
