Homestead, we are ready for you! Are you ready for Victory Weekend? We are excited for what God will accomplish this weekend, so thank you for your prayers this weekend and beyond.
The team is heading down from Virginia to Florida this week. They will set-up everything on Wednesday, November 16, and Thursday, November 17, in order to prepare to have an excellent weekend! Pray for their safety, the logistics, and the other tasks they need to finish before Friday, November 18.
Here is the current schedule. Times may change slightly due to the timing of races.
All scheduled events will be at the Victory Weekend stage at the GEICO Campgrounds and will feature Audra McLaughlin and the Jess Zimmerman Band as the performing artists. The main speaker will be Vernon Zook, SWEA Board Member and Florida pastor. Please be in prayer for Audra, Jess, and Steve as they share their talents through music and spoken word for Christ’s glory!
1) Friday, November 18, 2016 – 5 to 6 p.m. – Pre-Race Concert
2) Friday, November 18, 2016 – 10:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. – Midnight Post-Race Concert
3) Saturday, November 19, 2016 – 12 to 1 p.m. – Appearance from Casey Mears, Sprint Cup Driver
4) Saturday, November 19, 2016 – 1 to 2 p.m. – Pre-Race Concert
5) Saturday, November 19, 2016 – 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. – Midnight Post-Race Concert
6) Sunday, November 20, 2016 – 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. – Midnight DJ and Post-Race Concert
You are definitely invited to come join us, to witness how God transforms lives! Bring a friend, bring two of them, or bring several of them with you. We will also be honoring our veterans, military personnel, and first responders during the Saturday evening concert (10 p.m. to 12 a.m.). We are blessed to have such a great crowd of American warriors in our midst, so we also invite you to pray for those who come to know Jesus for the first time in this crowd.
God has worked in great ways this year through Victory Weekend, and this event is expected to be no different. Pray that God’s Will is accomplished above all else, for the people who are preparing to come, and for souls to be won for the Kingdom!
