From Steve – March II: Praise Report!
on March 18, 2016

I can feel your prayers for me and the ministry. Thank you.

As is so often true, I have been on the road a lot lately and God has definitely blessed my travels. On a recent trip to Florida, I had the extreme privilege of baptizing a long-time friend in front of his large family. Later that day I had the opportunity to share God’s Good News with the man’s brother and he accepted Jesus. Praise the Lord! His mercies are forever.

One the physical side of this trip, I helped a friend with some demo work on his house by spending the better part of an afternoon swinging a sledge hammer instead of a golf club. (I can still feel it.)

On Sunday, March 14th, I got to return to the church where I preached my first sermon about 50 years ago. Washington Baptist Church in Virginia is a small, eclectic congregation with a rich history. On that special Sunday, at least ten people responded to my message from Isaiah 9 and we honored a dozen veterans for their service. It was a very sweet time of reverence and reflection.

Thank you again for your prayers for me and the ministry staff as we are working on our busy 2016 schedule, the development of the West Virginia Inn project, and our involvement with Lodestar Guidance. I value your participation in this ministry more than I can adequately convey.
