How did it get so late so soon? It’s night before it’s afternoon. December is here before it’s June. My goodness, how the time has flown. How did it get so late so soon? ~Dr. Seuss
My family loves Dr. Seuss. In fact, my son David recently spoke at a school assembly and quoted the entire Horton Hears A Who! book in his speech. The kids loved it!
December, how did it get so late so soon? Everybody I talk to says the same thing. “Time is going by faster than ever.” I feel that makes it all the more urgent that we reach as many people as we possibly can with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
What better month than the month when we celebrate His birth? I urge you to tell as many people as you can what Christmas is really all about. Don’t be shy. “Jesus is the Reason for the Season!”
December is also the time when the ministry gears up for next year. Our Victory Weekend schedule is full with 16 major events – 14 race weekends, our annual Memorial Day Celebration, and a football game in Bristol. I will also speak at more than twenty churches during 2016.
We appreciate you and everything you do to help us spread the life-changing Gospel. Thank you for your prayers and financial support. I am praying that you and many others will take advantage of the $150,000 matching challenge this month. Your contribution to reaching men, women, and young people will be doubled! Don’t miss out on this fabulous opportunity.
My prayer for you is that you will have a blessed month of December spending time with family, friends, and celebrating the birth of our King!
Merry Christmas,
Steve Wingfield
